The title of a Bloomberg article released on January 5, 2013 is “Saudi Arabia (and) Egypt Call for Peaceful Handover in Syria” (Web-site/URL: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-01-05/saudi-arabia-egypt-call-for-peaceful-handover-in-syria.html).
According to Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, “after talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Mohamed Kamel Amr in Riyadh yesterday (January 4, 2013)”, “A PEACEFUL (?) exit is an Arab and international DEMAND”, “a demand” which is FALLING ON DEAF EARS. Also, “demanding” of course” is a fundamental characteristic of “Difficult People” (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI). On top of this, this transition (IF it’s happening) is already NOT “peaceful”. “It is up to the Syrian people to decide the conditions of the exit from power” of Assad”. Do “the Syrian people” have a choice as to what they want to do/as far as their political future is concerned? Saudi Arabia seems to be saying things that RUSSIA would be saying now.
“Amr called for “stepping up the efforts to achieve a PEACEFUL (?) handover of power”. Again, the Syrian conflict has been ANYTHING BUT “peaceful” “Assad will address his nation today (January 5, 2013) to discuss developments in the region, according to Syrian STATE television (SANA)”. Again “STATE television” only SPITS OUT GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA.
“Saudi Arabia, the largest Arab economy and Egypt,THE MOST POPULOUS Arab state, for the first time, made a joint call for Assad to step down, signaling closer cooperation on the Syrian situation, Khalid al-Dakhil, a professor of political studies at King Saud University in Riyadh said”. “in a telephone interview”, al-Dakhil said: “They (Saudi Arabia & Egypt) see how important the fall of the Syrian regime is on an Arab and REGIONAL level”, as the Middle East is between EUROPE and ASIA.
“Anne-Marie Slaughter, a professor at Princeton University and former U.S. State Department official, predicted that Syria would “split into multiple regions” and that, EVEN IF Assad falls, there WON’T be a government to replace him by the end of this year (2013)”. Speaking on “Fareed Zakaria GPS”, Slaughter said: “You’re going to have a Kurdish autonomous zone in Syria that is going to CREATE MAJOR TROUBLE for Turkey”, as if we need ANY MORE “major trouble” in the world today. Also, “autonomous zone” should remind us of INNER & OUTER MONGOLIA in CHINA. OUTER Mongolia is AUTONOMOUS/INDEPENDENT while INNER Mongolia is A PART OF CHINA. So OF COURSE THERE WILL BE TENSION between China and INNER Mongolia.
Finally, “Saudi Arabia’s Al-Faisal RENEWED ACCUSATIONS that Iran is “interfering in the internal affairs of the states of the region,” and CRITICIZED Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, its SHIITE Muslim neighbor, without naming him”. “Iraq’s security WILL NOT stabilize before it moves away from its SECTARIAN policy”.
This is yet another EASY conclusion. Apparently, WE CANNOT TRUST Saudi Arabia either because the “It is up to THE SYRIAN PEOPLE” is something that RUSSIA would say and the political situation in EGYPT is still EXTREMELY unstable with the ongoing battles between THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD and SCAF.
