The title of a recently released Al-Arabiya article is “Egypt’s Mursi says his speech against Jews was TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT” (Web-site/URL: http://english.alarabiya.net/articles/2013/01/17/260927.html). This is what all POLITICIANS say when they say things that they clearly SHOULDN’T have said.
“Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi (Morsy) said that statements he made three years ago (2010) demeaning Jews and Zionists were TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT“.
“He claims the statements were made following Israeli AGGRESSION against Palestine”. That’s his INTERPRETATION/what he WANTS US to BELIEVE (Web-site/URL:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI).
“The New York Times said it had obtained video of a speech by Mursi in 2010, when he was already a leading figure in the Muslim Brotherhood opposition movement, in which he urged Egyptians to “NURSE our children and our grandchildren on HATRED” for Jews and Zionists”. We should NEVER “nurse…on hatred”.
“In a television interview months later, Mursi described Zionists as “these BLOODSUCKERS who attack the Palestinians, these WARMONGERS, the descendants of APES and PIGS”. Well, IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE. Morsy must be calling HIMSELF an “ape” or a “pig”.
“in a statement”, Morsy’s spokesman said: “Mursi told a delegation of U.S. senators visiting Cairo on Wednesday (January 16, 2013) that the remarks needed to be put “IN THE CONTEXT in which they were said”. Again this is DEFENSIVE (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI).
“That context was Israeli “aggression” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the spokesman said, a possible reference to an Israeli military operation in Gaza in 2008 and 2009″. It’s as if PALESTINIANS HAVEN’T used “aggression” against ISRAELIS, making this the latest case of “We think they made us mad; they think we made them mad and here we go” (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI).
Finally, “The United States on Tuesday (January 15, 2013) condemned anti-Semitic remarks attributed to the Egyptian president before he was elected to office and urged him to make clear his views”. According to State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, “The language that we’ve seen is DEEPLY OFFENSIVE” obviously…”adding “we think that these comments should be repudiated (i.e. rejected) and they should be repudiated FIRMLY” obviously. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR SUCH HATRED in the . This takes us back to the days of ADOLF HITLER and that is a place that NO ONE should want to return to.
