SARAI SIERRA Murdered in TURKEY: Another Cold Case? (ABC)

The title of an ABC News article released on February 2, 2013 is “Sarai Sierra, American Tourist, Killed by BLOW TO (the) HEADTurkish Police Say” (Web-site/URL:

“A New York City woman vacationing ALONE in Istanbul  was killed by at least ONE FATAL BLOW TO THE HEAD, Turkish officials said today”. As precarious as it is in the Middle East for Americans right nowit is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to “vacation alone”. Sierra was “vacationing alone” in Turkey because her friend cancelled at the last minuteAlso “one fatal blow to the head” is GRUESOME/HORRIFYING.

THE BODY of Sarai Sierra, 33, was identified by her husband, Steven Sierra,IN A MORGUE, Istanbul police chief Huseyin Capkin said today (February 2, 2013)”This is another example of a spouse receiving THE WORST kind of newsSteven Sierra must be REELINGThere is NOTHING WORSE than to worry about a loved one and then be told that “the body” of that person was “…in a morgue”Also she was “STABBED to death” is GRUESOME and “left her cell phone passport and medical records in her room” is DEEPLY TROUBLINGAs former FBI and ABC News consultant Brad Garrett saidI DON’T LIKE THAT COMBINATION” and JUSTIFIABLY SO.

.”Her husband, Steven Sierra, and brother, David Jimenez, traveled to Istanbul last Sunday (January 27, 2013) to meet with American and Turkish officials and PUSH THE SEARCH FORWARD“, “the” GRIM “search”.

“Steven Sierra told ABC News last week”: “It was her first time outside of the United States and every day while she was there she pretty much KEPT IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH US, letting us know what she was up to, where she was going, whether it be through texting or whether it be through video chat, she was touching base with us“.

“The U.S. State Department said today (February 2, 2013) it is in contact with Sierra’s family and is providing consular assistance”. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we have no further commentWe thank the Turkish government for all their efforts to locate Mrs. Sierra and we will remain in close contact with them as they continue their investigation“.

“Rep. Michael Grimm, R-N.Y., who with his staff had been assisting the Sierra family in the search, said he was “DEEPLY SADDENED” to hear the news of her death” obviously. “I urge Turkish officials to move quickly to identify whomever is responsible for her tragic death and ensure that any guilty parties are punished to the fullest extent of the law”.

This is another COLD CASE because WE STILL DON’T KNOW who killed Sarai SierraAlso the fact that she was killed in TURKEY is DEEPLY troubling because Turkey is so close to SYRIA and as we knowSyria is ruled by A RUTHLESS DICTATORBASHAR AL-ASSAD.
