The title of a recently released released MSNBC article is “Egyptian clerics WARN OF (?) ‘civil war‘ ahead of mass protests” (Web-site/URL: http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/06/28/19169157-egyptian-clerics-warn-of-civil-war-ahead-of-mass-protests?lite).
“Egypt RISKS (?) sliding into civil war, the country’s leading religious authority warned Friday (June 28, 2013), as the nation braced itself for mass nationwide protests”. Note that most of the unrest in Egypt occurs on FRIDAYS.
“Organizers of “June 30, (2013)” demonstrations — which mark one year since ISLAMIST President Mohammed Morsi’s (Morsy’s) election — claim they have the backing of an estimated 15 MILLION Egyptians who WANT him to resign“. There are TWO things to note here. To start off, again, of course, as we know, dictators NEVER do what people “want”. They do what THEY “want”. On top of this, “Islamist” is DEEPLY troubling/ALARMING because they have some OUTRAGEOUS practices such as FORCING women to wear veils (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI)..
According to Gamal Abdul Aziz, “a PRO–Morsi (Morsy) car mechanic in Madba’a, a BLUE-collar district in Cairo”, “Only GOD knows what will happen” Sunday (June 30 2013). Again, many dictators ACT LIKE/AS IF they are PRO “blue-collar” or WORKING CLASS when in fact they are only working for/serving THEMSELVES.
“There were OMINOUS signs Friday (June 28, 2013). U.S. officials told NBC News that they were investigating reports that a US citizen was STABBED to death Friday (June 28, 2013) during protests in Alexandria, where at least 80 other people have been wounded, the STATE news agency MENA reported”. There are FOUR things to note here. First, WE’VE HAD more than enough “ominous signs” lately. Secondly, “a US citizen was stabbed to death”. As we know, the AMERICAN reputation in the Middle East is VERY BAD or at least NOT good. Thirdly, “a US citizen was STABBED to death” (note the point of emphasis). “stabbed” is obviously an extremely VIOLENT action. On top of this, once again, “STATE news agencies” only spit out GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA.
“The State Department authorized the departure of a limited number of non-emergency employees and family members and warned U.S. citizens to DEFER NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL to Egypt”. There is also an “Outbound travel alert” out now for Egypt in HONG KONG, updated on June 29, 2013 (Web-site/URL: http://www.sb.gov.hk/eng/ota/note-Egypt.htm).
“His supporters, meanwhile, have promised they will also take to the streets to defend the Muslim Brotherhood-backed government”. “Muslim Brotherhood-backed government” again = ISLAMIST “backed government” and as we noted earlier, Islamists are PROBLEMATIC.
“in a statement broadly SUPPORTIVE of Morsi (Morsy)”, clerics of the Al-Azhar institute said: “Vigilance is required to ensure we DO NOT slide into civil war“.
“It BLAMED “criminal gangs” who besieged mosques for street violence that the Brotherhood said has killed FIVE of its supporters in a week”. There are THREE things to note here. First, “Blamed” is the latest/yet another example of “Blaming & criticizing” (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-AJviZ8Itk). Secondly “criminal gangs” sounds like MUAMAR GADHAFI and BASHAR AL-ASSAD. On top of this, notice “street violence that the Brotherhood said has killed FIVE of its supporters in a week”. Well, the Brotherhood have killed TENS or even HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of innocent protesters.
“In an example of just how POLARIZED the debate over Egypt’s future has become, Aziz and his family became embroiled in a shouting match with a nearby resident, ANTI-Morsi (Morsy) computer science student Mohamed Abdul Munim, 23, while being interviewed this week”. Well, THE ENTIRE WORLD seems to be “polarized” on a variety of issues these days.
“The argument, which took place after NBC News filmed a political discussion between the two, ended when Munim STORMED OFF“. “stormed off”, of course, signifies ANGER/DISGUST/FRUSTRATION (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI).
“The dispute and recent violence — one man was SHOT DEAD and four other people were WOUNDED in an attack on a Muslim Brotherhood office Thursday (June 27, 2013) — was an ILL OMEN for Sunday’s (June 30, 2013) marches”. Again, we DON’T need any more “ill omens” in our society now.
“Munim said he believed “most” of Egypt’s registered 50 million voters will be out on the streets, supporting one side or the other”, “out on the streets” IN FULL FORCE especially people like GIGI IBRAHIM (gsquare86).
“We are sure that we will go out and GET BEATEN UP by the [Muslim] Brotherhood, [but] WE ARE GOING OUT DESPITE THIS. THERE IS NO SECURITY. THERE IS ECONOMIC COLLAPSE. THE ELECTRICITY CUTS OFF and EVERYBODY IS SUFFERING. They will say (that) Morsi (Morsy) IS NOT at fault, but electricity DIDN’T cut off when the military governed“. So, Munim is nostalgic for SCAF.
“Aziz, meanwhile, said HIS life had IMPROVED under Morsi (Morsy) and ACCUSED the mostly secular opposition of “WAGING A WAR AGAINST Islam. Can you build a house in a day? No, IT TAKES TIME. What can a president do in one year when A COUNTRY IS IN RUINS? The old [Mubarak] regime STOLE the country and left it DESTROYED“. There are FOUR things to note here. First, AZIZ‘s “life had improved under Morsy”, but this is clearly NOT the case for EVERYONE, making Aziz EGOCENTRIC and ARROGANT (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI). Secondly, “accused” is the latest example of “Blaming and criticizing” (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-AJviZ8Itk). Thirdly, notice “waging a war against Islam”. MORSY now represents ISLAM? WHAT A JOKE. On top of all this, MUBARAK left “the country (Egypt) in ruins, stole the country and left it destroyed?” Well, MORSY IS NO BETTER. In fact, many will argue that Morsy is WORSE and justifiably so.
“In a sign of the nervousness many felt, Egyptians were stocking up on food, fuel, water and cash in the days leading up the protests” in scenes reminiscent of the 2011 revolution that toppled MUBARAK. On top of this, we DON’T need any more “nervous” people.
“Morsi’s (Morsy’s) supporters claim the demonstration — organized by an opposition umbrella group called “Tamarod” meaning ” rebel ” — is setting the stage for a repeat of the 2011 Arab Spring revolution”.
“Mahmoud Badr, a 28-year-old journalist and founder of the Tamarod movement, DISMISSED a televised speech by Morsi (Morsy) on Wednesday night (June 26, 2013) in which the president appealed for calm”. Badre told the Egypt INDEPENDENT (?) “Our demand was early presidential elections and since that was not addressed anywhere in the speech, then our response will be ON THE STREETS” Sunday (June 30, 2013)”. Again, there are TWO things to note here. First, “Mahmoud Badr, a 28-year-old journalist and founder of the Tamarod movement, DISMISSED a televised speech by Morsi (Morsy) on Wednesday night (June 26, 2013) in which the president appealed for calm”, again AS EXPECTED (Web-site/URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgnAY_eXYbI). NO ONE CAN TRUST MORSY. Secondly, “on the streets” again should remind us of GIGI IBRAHIM (gsquare86).
Finally, “Eric Trager, a fellow at the Washington Institute think tank that battle lines were drawn between “an ENRAGED opposition” and “an UTTERLY INCAPABLE (and) CONFRONTATIONAL ruling party that now counts some of Egypt’s MOST violent political elements as ITS CORE SUPPORTERS“. Again, this combination (“enraged opposition, utterly incapable and confrontational”) is EXTREMELY PROBLEMATIC.
“Rising food prices, HOURS-long fuel lines and MULTIPLE-times-daily electricity cuts — all WORSENING amidst a typically SCORCHING Egyptian summer — have SET many Egyptians ON EDGE, with CLASHES between Brotherhood and anti-Brotherhood activists NOW A COMMON FEATURE OF Egyptian political life“, which, again, of course, IS NOT good. “Whatever happens on [Sunday, June 30, 2013], IT CAN’T END WELL“. THIS is THE ONLY certainty. This is the latest/yet another NEGATIVE sentiment. If “It can’t end well” is the only guarantee, it’s pretty obvious that once again, Egypt is headed toward THE ABYSS.
